All Customs Centers and Border Centers authorized to prepare bonded deposit statements such as Amman Customs Center/ Aqaba Customs Center/ Sahab Customs Center/ Jaber Customs Center/ Passengers Ships Customs Center.

Estimated Fee:

  • (10) JODs stamps + overtime work equal to .002 of the value of the goods, and no less than (10) JODs and no more than (250) JODs.
  • Customs fees are determined as per the type of goods/ items.
  • Clearance fees are determined according to the instructions issued by the Department, Instructions No. (1) for the year 2007 regarding setting clearance fees http://www.customs.gov.jo

Conditions for obtaining service

 

  1. Present documents and pursue procedures through a clearance company.
  2. The concerned person must be present or whoever is officially authorized.
  3. There must be a guarantee for the goods instead of customs duties.
  4. The commodities must be legal and allowed to enter Jordan.

Procedures

  1. The applicant shall prepare the customs declaration online and attach all the required documents. The applicant shall then submit the complete transaction to the Reception Desk and Competition for study and verification. The concerned officer checks if the transaction meets the conditions, categorizes the appropriate lane (The Red Lane), and finally determines what authorities should be contacted, online, to pursue further actions.
  2. The transaction is sent to the concerned unit to determine the inspector and study conditions in the Red lane.
  3. The inspector physically inspects commodities and prepares a report of so. If conditions are met, the appliance is asked to pay the prescribed fees and the inspector develops a report stating this.
  4. The transaction is then forwarded to the specialized unit if the conditions are met and approvals are electronically completed.
  5. Moves to the Green Lane.
  6. Visit the Cashier to pay the prescribed fees.

Required Documents

 

  • A certified invoice by the Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy, or the Consulate Office in the city where the certificate was first issued, if any.
  • A certificate of Origin by the Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy, or the Consulate Office in the city where the certificate was first issued, if any. 
  • An authorization letter by the concerned person delegating the clearance company to pursue procedures.
  • TheImporter card or import license for some commodities.
  • Frontier transit statement of incoming commodities overland.
  • A packing list.
